Terms & Conditions of Enrolment

Port & Crane Academy of New Zealand (PCANZ)

These Terms & Conditions apply to all learners enrolled with Port & Crane Academy of New Zealand. By enrolling in a course or programme, you agree to the following conditions.

Enrolment and eligibility

  • Learners must meet all entry requirements for their chosen programme.
  • PCANZ reserves the right to decline enrolment if requirements are not met.
  • Accurate and complete information must be provided at enrolment.

Fees and payment

  • Course fees are outlined on our website or provided at enrolment.
  • Fees must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule.
  • All qualifications offered by PCANZ follow the same reassessment, resit, and withdrawal fee structure, which is published on the Fees & Student Fee Protection page.

Refunds, cancellations, and withdrawals

  • Refunds and withdrawals are handled in accordance with PCANZ’s Fees, Refunds, Cancellations & Withdrawals Policy.
  • Eligibility for refunds depends on timing, course commencement, and participation.
  • Administrative fees may apply.

Reassessment and resits

  • Learners who do not meet assessment requirements may be eligible for reassessment or resits.
  • Additional fees may apply.
  • Progression rules apply to all qualifications and must be met before moving forward.

Learner responsibilities

Learners are expected to:

  • Engage respectfully with staff and other learners
  • Follow health and safety requirements
  • Meet attendance and assessment deadlines
  • Communicate promptly if issues arise

Failure to meet these expectations may result in disciplinary action or withdrawal.

Health & safety

PCANZ is committed to providing a safe learning environment. Learners must follow all safety instructions, site rules, and emergency procedures. First aid and emergency contacts are available during training.
