provided by those involved with PCANZ will only be used for the
purpose for which it was collected, or by which the Privacy Act 2020
allows.

2. Health & Safety Policy:
PCANZ is committed to monitoring and implementing a high standard of safe
workplace practices. All working and learning environments will be compliant,
safe and fit for purpose to ensure PCANZ learners, employees and Learning
& Assessment Partners are not exposed to significant hazards while

3. Entry Requirements:
PCANZ has clear entry requirements for the training it offers. These are
communicated to employers seeking to enroll their staff and are outlined in
the course prospectus and on the PCANZ website for potential learners to
review the requirements for courses prior to applying. For further information

4. Learner Fee Protection:
PCANZ understands the responsibility it would have under the Student Fee

5. Refunds and Withdrawal Policy:
PCANZ will comply with NZQA’s Student Fee Protection Rules, Refund
Flowchart, and Refund Table, and ensures all requirements are met.

6. Education Code of Conduct & Pastoral Care:
PCANZ is committed to the duty of care required by the Education (Pastoral
Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021 and values
the wellbeing of every learner. The Code outlines outcomes and processes
which PCANZ must adhere to, to provide a safe and supportive environment
for learners. PCANZ will proactively engage its learners to include their
feedback, recommendations and concerns as part of its Self-Assessment
process in strategy and planning with the goal of improving services and
outcomes for future learners.

7. Academic Integrity, Plagiarism and Cheating:
PCANZ is committed to supporting learners to develop the skills and abilities
required to meet their study goals. Academic integrity is of the highest
importance to maintain quality courses and quality outcomes for learners,

8. Assessment Policy
Consistent assessment methods are appropriate and fair, manageable and
integrated with work or learning and evidence is valid, authentic and

10. Learner Complaints & Appeals:
PCANZ has a transparent process for learner complaints to ascertain and
support a fair resolution. The complaints procedure is included in the course
prospectus which is distributed and verbally highlighted during orientation.

11. Learner Conduct:
Every learner enrolled in a PCANZ training course is required to meet
behavioral expectations and conduct themselves in a professional manner,
ensuring the safety, welfare and progress of all training attendees in a fair and
safe learning environment.
